Jesse James Richmond, 39 of Southside Drive, Hinton died Tuesday November 30, 2021 at his home.

Born July 21, 1982 in Lewisburg, WV he was the son of Brenda and Bernie Richmond of Hinton and the late Dennis W. Richmond, Sr.

Jesse was employed as a truck driver and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved fishing and hunting. Jesse will be missed dearly by his family.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, J. Arley and Syble A. Richmond; maternal grandparents, James C. and Helen Richmond; brother, Dennis Richmond, Jr.; cousin, Rex Richmond and an aunt, Rebecca Treadway.

Survivors include his parents, Bernie and Brenda Richmond of Hinton; former wife, Jodi Meadows Richmond of True; one son, Atley Richmond at home and one daughter, Riley Richmond at home. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor David White officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Family Cemetery on Freezeland Mountain near Hinton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
