Jimmie Ruth Fitzpatrick, 84 of Hinton passed away Friday October 7 ^th , 2022 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born March 1, 1938 in Eufaula, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Louie O'Neal and Nellie Sinquifield Dixon.

Ms. Fitzpatrick was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. "Bob" Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Neal and Larry Dixon and one sister, Charlotte Sanders.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Fitzpatrick and wife Mary of Lindside, WV and Danny Fitzpatrick and wife Joni of Meadow Creek, WV; three daughters, Donna Helms and husband Mark of Leland, NC, Debbie Fix of Hinton and Erin Walker of Jumping Branch; one sister, Barbara Barwick of Bartow, FL; 10 grandchildren, Kassi Fix, Savanna Helms, Kaley Helms, Molly Fix-Smith, Bobby Fitzpatrick and companion Jessica Bell, Brittany Coleman and husband Danny, Savannah Rose Ryder, Ella McDaniel, Kasey Fitzpatrick & companion Austin Carr and Ty Fitzpatrick; eight great grandchildren, Laci Case, Liam Smith, Maddov Smith, Baliegh Fitzpatrick, Addilyn Ryder, Diesel Coleman, Brylan Coleman and Rosalie Coleman; brother-in-law, Herb Fitzpatrick and sisters-in-law, Nita Walker of Hinton, June Lumbag of Jacksonville, FL and June Dixon of Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 10 ^th , 2022 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Roy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia. The family wishes to thank this organization, especially Lisa Woods and Maggie Meade for the care shown to their mother.
