John Steven Whitaker, 69, passed away on April 12, 2024 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born March 23, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Paul T. Whitaker and Helen Mae Adkins Whitaker.

Steve was a 1973 graduate of Edgewood High School.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul (Sonny) and David Whitaker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Jack Whitaker of Hinton, WV, two nieces, and three nephews.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home.
