Joseph Keller, age 81, of Hinton, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Born on February 6, 1944 in Hinton, WV, he was the son of the late Clarence and Martha May Thompson Keller.

Joseph worked in construction jobs throughout his life, ending his career with F. Richard Wilton Contractors Inc. in Ashland, Virginia.  He attended Rollynsburg Baptist Church in Talcott, WV.  Joseph enjoyed going to auctions, hunting, and fishing.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Keller and John Hammond and two sisters, Pansy Cox and Lucy Hammond.

Those left to cherish his memory include his twin sister, Josephine Buckland of Ruther Glen, VA and a special niece, Martha Merrill (Lawrence) of Jusdon and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many former co-workers at Richard Wilton Contractors in Ashland, Virginia that Joseph thought of as family.

Funeral services for Joe will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday June 15, 2026 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Keaton Cemetery at Pipestem. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
