Joseph Corbitt Lewis, Jr., 69 of Pence Springs, passed away on June 4, 2023, at Summers County ARH hospital.

Born January 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Joseph C. Lewis, Sr, and Sarah Sellers Lewis. He graduated from Vidalia High School, and he was of the Christian faith.  He had previously worked at Cintas Corporation.

Joseph was loved by all, and he enjoyed watching wrestling, and hanging out with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Sarah Cowart, Margaret Smith, and Dan Miller.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Frances Lewis, of Pence Springs, a sister Lynn Miller of Vidalia, Georgia, a cousin, Robert Perry of Savannah, Georgia, several nieces and nephews, and his former wife Teresa Hunter, of Pence Springs.  Four grandchildren also survive.

At his request, his body will be cremated, there will be no service.
