Joyce Ann Bragg, 79 of Lerona, passed away Monday November 19, 2018 at her home following a long illness.

Born December 18, 1938 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Robert Basham and Arlene Robbins Basham McPeake.

Joyce was a graduate of Hinton High School and was a former waitress at Jack's Restaurant in Hinton and Pipestem State Park. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin K. Bragg as well as two brothers, Bobby Basham and an infant brother.

Survivors include her husband Darrell Latham. One daughter, Barbara Parker and husband Edd of Franklin, WV. Two grandchildren, Anna Merkel and husband Danny of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joshua Broughfman of Brandywine, WV. One great granddaughter, Miley Merkel. A sister-in-law, Betty Jo Basham of Hinton also survives.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 24, 2018 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Walter Burch officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
