Juanita Virginia Allen, 92 of Willowood Road, died Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Hilldale following a long illness.

Born September 12, 1928 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edith V. Wyant Allen.

Juanita was a graduate of Talcott High School. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family. She was caregiver to her late sister for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Juanita was a lifelong resident of Summers County.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Herbert and Sidney "Sid" Allen and one sister, Thelma Allen.

Survivors include a brother, Beauford Allen and wife Nancy of Little Wolf Creek; two nephews, William Allen and wife Lola of Hamilton, OH and James Allen and wife Susan of Midland, TX; a cousin, Jacob Allen along with her best friend, Margaret Persinger also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 30, 2021 at the Allen Cemetery on Willowood Road with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. There will be no visitation. Those wishing to attend services are asked to meet at the cemetery.
