Kathleen June Adkins, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Summers County Appalachian  Regional Hospital, after a long illness.

Born at Elgood, WV, on February 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late, William D. and Effie McBride Bridges.

She was a born again Christian and had lived most of her life in Summers County.  She was a housewife and loved quilting.

Survivors include six children, two brothers, and five sisters.  Numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 7, 2017, at Upland Cemetery.
