Kenneth Raymond Willey, aged 97, of Hilldale, WV, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley after a long illness.

Born on March 14, 1929, in Hinton, Kenneth was the son of the late Raymond R. and Anna Butler Willey. 

A proud graduate of Talcott High School, he dedicated many years as a telegraph operator for the C&O Railway Company in Hinton. His skills didn't stop there; Kenneth enjoyed his time as a television repairman at Jimmy’s T.V., always eager to lend a helping hand with any mechanical or electrical issue. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in bow-hunting whitetail deer and fishing, passions that were deeply admired by his family and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Alma Jean Mann Willey, along with his son-in-law Jimmy Fuller and daughter-in-law Brenda Willey.

He leaves behind a legacy through his loving family: his son David Willey and wife Linda of Pipestem, WV; his daughters Dianne Majerick and husband Robert of Eden, NC; and Karen Fuller of Hilldale, WV. His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton, officiated by John Butler. Interment will follow in Keaton Cemetery, Greenville, WV. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Kenneth's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
