Lena Christine Beymer, 81 of Hinton passed away Sunday November 10, 2024 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.

Born November 18, 1942 in Pineville, WV she was the daughter of the late Kelly W. and Edith A. Halsey Brooks.

Christine was a graduate of Pineville High School and earned a 2 year degree from Charles County Community College. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crafts and flowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hinton.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Charlie Beymer and two brothers, Billy Brooks and Dwight "Bud" Brooks.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 61 years, Ray D. Beymer; two sons, Timothy Beymer of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Mark Beymer of Indian Head, MD; one daughter, Kimberly Barrett of Nanjemoy, MD; one grandson, Matthew D. Beymer; two brothers, David Brooks of Crab Orchard, WV and Myron Brooks of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Cheryl Morgan of Pineville, WV and Barbara Mullins of High Point, NC.

At the deceased request, cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
