Linda Ellen Carr, 75 of Hinton passed Monday Dec. 7, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born January 21, 1945 in Kayford, WV she was the daughter of the late Donnie S. and Mary Fraley Collins.

Mrs. Carr was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, cooking and working puzzles.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Carr; one granddaughter, Tabitha Prater; two brothers, David and Glen Collins and one sister, Peggy Carr.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Carr; two sons, Jimmy Carr of Hinton and Donnie Carr of Sophia, WV; one daughter, Shirley Carr of Union, WV; one sister, Joyce Stover of Hinton; six grandchildren, Alysia Goodwin, Mary Ann Mike, Jennifer Bates ,Jordan Brown, Jessica Carr and Lillian Steers; ten great grandchildren, Meghan Gill, Talon Terrence Bates, Kayleah Bates, Tylena Bates, Ciphair Bates, Jackson Carr, Madison Carr, Marcus Carr, Austin Thomas and Anna Thomas.

The family has honored Linda's wishes and cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at a later date.
