Obituary

Linda Darlene Burdette Kothe, 74, of Indianapolis, IN, died Monday, March 12, 2018, at her home following a short illness.

Born February 21, 1944, in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Cales Burdette of Big Creek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gorge Kothe and her step-son Michael Kothe.

Linda was a 1961 graduate of Hinton High School and was formerly employed by the C & O Railway Company in Toledo, Ohio for many years. She later moved back to West Virginia and opened Lillian's Bed & Breakfast and Antique Shop in White Sulphur Springs, until her retirement.

Survivors include her son, Kris (Carlos) Kothe of Indianaapolis, In, step-son George Koth, Jr. of Arizona, brothers, Roy David (Marge) Burdette of Hinton, WV, Bill (Linda) Burdette of Hilldale, WV, Peter Michael (Sharon) Burdette of Grassy Meadows, WV, Sisters, Betty (Larry) Tincher of Hinton, WV, Judy Orphey of Toledo, OH, and half-sister, Jan Kerns of Seminole, Fl; nephews, Larry Jr., Jeffery, Mark, Shawn, Billy, Adam, Brad, and Michael, and niece Jackie, and many great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Pivont Funeral Chapel in Hinton, with Josh Cox, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park, in Hinton, Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 pm, on Saturday at the funeral home. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
