Lydia Imogene Bennett, 91, of 301 Cedar Avenue, Hinton, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.

Born in Hinton, on January 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Annie Mann Meadows.

She was a homemaker and did ironing for many people in the area.

Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Bennett, one son Basil Willey, Jr, three sisters Lahoma Kessler, Margaret Spade, and Jane Wimmer, and Two Brothers, Everette and Billy Carl Meadows.

Surviving are one son Bobby Willey and wife Teresa of Hinton, WV, one step son Randy Bennett and wife Edie of Hinton, WV, one step daughter Tammy Hunter and husband William of Charlotte, NC, one brother James Elwood Meadows of Beckley, WV, five Grandchildren, Bobbi Jean Cole, Chase Alan Willey, Lydia Beth Petrea, Hope Pearl Hunter, and Holly Grace Hunter, two Great Grandchildren, Drake Alan Cole and Kaylee Alyssa Cole.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July, 15, 2016 at Greenbrier Burial Park with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Anyone attending the service is asked to meet at the cemetery.
