Margaret Helen Burdette, 75 of Big Creek, died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a long illness.

Born July 24, 1942 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Meldeane Hughes Baumgartner.

Mrs. Burdette was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Baumgartner and wife Patsy.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Roy David Burdette. One daughter, Jackie Szczublewski (Marty)of Perrysburg, OH. One son, Michael Wolf (Angel). One brother, John Baumgartner (Sheron) of Bonita Springs, FL. Two sisters, Barbara Thrasher (Bob) and Dorothy Wachowiak (Paul), both of Oregon, OH. Seven grandchildren, Jaimie Riccitelli (Pat), James, Travis, Cole and Austin Szczublewski and Ricky and Joseph Wolf. Special nephew, Kris Kothe (Carlos) of Indianapolis, IN.

Cryptside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday April 23, 2018 at Greenbrier Burial Park Mausoleum in Hinton with Josh Cox officiating. There will be no visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
