Margaret A. Miller, 75 of 174 Sunrise Lane Nimitz, died at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday October 28, 2015 at her home following a long illness. Born September 16, 1940 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Aileen Briers Murrell. Margaret was a 1958 graduate of Hinton High School and was a bookkeeper for several area businesses. She was a member of Sand Knob United Methodist Church at Nimitz and held several offices in the Greenbrier District of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and cross stitch and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James L. Miller. One brother-in-law, Charles Miller & wife Yerda of Olmsted Township, OH, one sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Grover & husband Steve of Allentown, PA along with several nieces, nephews cousins and a multitude of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 1, 2015 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Rev's. Penny Bivens, Melissa White and Betty Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be; Danny Harris, Bret Whitten, Cotty Farley, Dennis Hamm, Gordy Hardy, Chuck Gwinn and Phillip Maddy. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
