Martha Mary Balfour Brewer, 76 of Sandstone, has graduated to her final home..Heaven.

She was born in Dryden, Michigan March 11, 1945 to her folks, Earl and Irene Martin Balfour, hard-working farmers who preceded her in death.

Ms. Marti graduated from Dryden High School along with all her 6 siblings. Five of her siblings also preceded her in death, Vicki, Joyce, David, Eileen and Earletta. Her baby brother and dear friend Neil is the last of their generation. Ms. Marti was formerly employed as a photo color lab specialist in Michigan.

Ms. Marti moved to West Virginia in 1991 with her best friend and dear husband Clarence. Together they built a comfy log cabin in the mountains, one of their mutual dreams. She was a faithful member of Meadow Bridge Baptist Church.

Ms. Marti leaves their 3 children, Chris, Troy and Danielle Brewer to carry on her love for the Lord and her love for children. There are 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren that call her Gramma Marti. She leaves several nieces and nephews and numerous friends who all know her favorite Bible verses-Proverbs 3:5&6

Funeral services for Ms. Marti will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday January 24, 2022 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Chase Whitten officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Troy, Chris, Jonathon, Casey and Brandon "Cody" Brewer and Chris Cales.
