Mary Elizabeth Jones, 94 of Jumping Branch, WV went to be with the Lord Friday January 21, 2022 following a short illness.

Born January 29, 1927 in Talcott, WV she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Cox Meadows.

Ms. Jones was a homemaker and attended Pillar of Truth Church at Barger Springs. She loved caring for her children, sewing, cooking and canning. Granny also donated over 100 lap quilts to residents of Main Street Care in Hinton and to patients at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. She was the most loving and caring person in this world. She will be an amazing Angel.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Jones; two sons, Ronald and Alfred Jones; two grandsons, Chad Clayton and Justin Jones; granddaughter, Rhonda Fuelling and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Calvin and wife Pat Jones of Temperance, MI, Neil and wife Donna Jones of Spring, TX and Lloyd and wife Mary Jones of Jumping Branch, WV; one daughter, Genevieve Flint and husband Harvey of Ballard, WV; daughter-in-law, Connie Jones of Hinton, WV; granddaughter, Melissa Jones of Raleigh, NC; grandsons, Rodney and wife Alice Jones of Charleston, WV, Todd Mominee of Temperance, MI, Jason Jones and wife Tammy of New Caney, TX, Charlie Kleindinst of Spring, TX, Shane and Michael Clayton, both of Hinton, WV, Scott Niday of Jumping Branch, WV and Keith Niday of Stuart, VA; great grandchildren, Lauren Jones of Marietta, GA, Raegan Jones of Charleston, WV, Courtney Barnes of New Caney, TX, Alyssa Niday of Jumping Branch, WV, Ryan Jones of Charleston, WV, Cohen Jones of New Caney, TX and Tyler Niday of Jumping Branch, WV; great, great grandchild, Bennett Barnes of New Caney, TX along with one sister, Golda Leadingham of Kernersville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 5, 2022 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Walter Bonnell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
