Mary Kellan Martin, 84 of Sandstone, died Saturday March 11, 2017 at Summers Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Hilldale  following a long illness.

Born July 12, 1932 at Glade, WV she was the daughter of the late William O. and Nina Grace Ward Jones.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her entire family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martin in 2015, also by a son, Robert Martin, Jr. and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie Martin of Sandstone and Phyllis Martin of Newport, TN. Ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 15, 2017 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Roger Thorton officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Roger Reed, LennyRichmond, David Richmond, Danny Price, Joey Bachert and George Bachert.
