Mary Alice Foster Walker, age 85 of Columbus, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019.   She retired from Columbus Public Schools, where she served in Food Service.  She was an active charter member of Southside Baptist Church, where she served many years as Sunday School Director and in many other positions.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Louis Walker, her parents Charles and Bertha Foster, her sisters Myrtle Simms, Florence Foster and Kay Hannon, her brothers Earnest Foster, Donald Foster and David Foster, her son Ricky Allen Walker and her grandson Jonathan Kerr.

She is survived by her children Shelia(Bruce) Kerr of Dallas Ga, Marvin Walker of Beavercreek, Oh, and Susan Bugh of Salem, In, and her grandchildren William Kerr, David Kerr, Kaitlin Bugh and Isaiah Bugh, her sisters Ruth Smith, and Faye Ramsey, and her brother Jerry Foster, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Roles Chapel Baptist Church at Forest Hill. A Home-going praise service will follow the Visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Dr. Dan Lambert officating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
