Michael 'Huff' Harford, 41, of Sullivan Road, passed away Oct. 31, 2019, at home.

Born Oct. 11, 1978, he was the son of the late Julia Ann Harford of Hinton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Maxine Harford of Hinton.

Mike was a EMT for Tri State Ambulance, General Ambulance of Raleigh County, Jan-Care of Raleigh County, Summers County Fire Station No. 13. He worked a year for Coal City and Sophia fire departments, where he was also a fire investigator for the Sophia area fire department. Mike also did security work.

Survivors include his companion, Ericka Trent; uncle Charles Harford and wife, Dawn of Wylie, Texas; and cousins: Thomas Harford and wife, Shelly of Gilbert, Ariz; Stephannie Bramlett and husband, Cab of Dalton, Ga.; Debbie Miller and husband, Bruce of Bluefield, WV; Mary Sue Iddings of Bluefield, WV; Jennifer Compton of Phoenix , Ariz.; Andrea Washington and husband, Mike, of Phoenix, Ariz.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at the Family Worship Center in Beckley, where a memorial service will be from noon to 1 p.m. Officiating will be Chaplains Craig Dorsey and Mike Gosnell. Followed by a procession to Sophia Area Fire Department, where last call will be made. Procession will be to the Sophia Area Fire Department, with a Fire Fighters Funeral, being conducted by Chief Gary Taylor.
