Michael Phillip Trout, 53 of Hinton, died Sunday September 15, 2019 at his home following a sudden illness.

He was born July 23, 1966 in Hinton.

Michael was a former roofing contractor in North Carolina and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed trout fishing and spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Hammonds.

Survivors include his father and mother, Ralph and Brenda Trout of Hinton. Paternal grandmother, Marie Trout of Hinton. Two brothers, Timmy Trout of Brooks and Jeffrey Trout of Hinton. Two sisters, Michelle Romanello of True and Lisa Trout of Fairmont, WV.  Half-brother, Richard Trout of Talcott. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, along with a special friend, Tim O'Farrell also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday September 20, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Dallas Peyton officiating. Burial will follow in Alderson Cemetery, Alderson, WV. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Tim O'Farrell, Jimmy Romanello, Zach Mills, Keith Cales and Jeff Trout.
