Michael Francis Yannuzzi, 81 of Pence Springs, passed away Monday September 17, 2018 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea following a long illness.

Born August 15, 1937 in Union City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John Leo and Mildred Matlack Yannuzzi.

Mr. Yannuzzi was a retired welder and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying vacationing, hunting and fishing. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by a son, John Yannuzzi.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen Hohner Yannuzzi. One son, Michael F. Yannuzzi of Monroe, NJ. One sister, Mary of New Jersey along with four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton for a time of sharing and celebration. Cremation services will follow the visitation.
