Nadine Woodrum of 305 Riverside Drive Hinton, died Sunday January 13, 2019 at Main St. Care in Hinton. Nadine was the daughter of the late Thomas Monroe and Jewel Phillips Grammer of Springfield, Missouri.

She was a graduate of Sonoma High School in Sonoma, California and attended the University of California at Berkeley. She had been a resident of West Virginia for over 60 years. She served as a member of the WAVES during World War II and was an employee of the former State Road Commission, the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 132 and The Summers County Magistrate Court. Nadine was a member of Hinton First United Methodist Church and had been a member of several civic and volunteer organizations. She was interested in politics and was elected to the Summers County Democratic Executive Committee, where she was twice chosen "Democrat of The Year".

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Mark Woodrum in 2011.

She is survived by sons, Tom Woodrum and wife Connie of Hinton, Tim Woodrum and wife Christine of Roanoke, VA and a daughter, Donna Mock of Hinton. Grandchildren; D.F. Mock and wife Juli, Mollie Mock Kaufman and husband Craig, Brian Woodrum and wife Mary Jessica, Micah Woodrum, Erich, John, Elliot and Emerson Woodrum. Four great granddaughters, Montana and Micaya Woodrum, Haydon Mock and Roe Kaufman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 17 ^th , 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Patricia Worles officiating. Entombment will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. There will be no public visitation.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be, Bill Jeffries, James Ford, Dr. Stanley Day, Ken Allman, Ray Pivont, Curtis Shaver, Alex McCallister, Bill Sorg, Mike Craft, Fred Mock and Ken Harshaw.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summers County Public Library in memory of James Mark Woodrum or to Hinton First United Methodist Church.
