Nancy Carol Graham, 76 of Conover, North Carolina was at peace when she passed away on Monday Nov. 20, 2017 at Catawba Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina, following a short illness.

Born August 25, 1941 at Sandstone, she was the daughter of the late Alton Basil and Nancy Irene Lewis Bragg.

Carol was a 1960 graduate of Sandstone High School. She was a retired clerk for Chessie System. Carol was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Rush, and Rhett Bragg. Her sisters, Mary Faith Bragg and Myla Redden also preceded her in death.

Nancy Carol is survived by daughter, Stephanie Bolling and husband Tim of Nimitz, WV, sons, Alton David Graham and wife Teresa of Conover, NC, Jeffrey Scott Graham and wife Lovelia of Conover, NC and Jay Lon Graham and Tamara of Concord, NC. "Grandma Carol" is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition, Carol is survived by her brother, A.B. "Dick" Bragg, Jr. of Sandstone and sisters, Chrystal Gowings of Lewisburg and Ona Jane Reynolds of Covington, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday November 27, 2017 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Bragg Family Cemetery at Sandstone. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Scott Graham, Alton David Graham, II, Randy Bragg, Gary Bragg, Rodney Bragg and Tim Bolling.
