Nancy Kay Rose, 63 of Talcott, passed away Wednesday January 23, 2019 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea following a long illness.

Born July 26, 1955 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Alvin C. and Janice Whitlock Weikle.

Mrs. Rose was a retired ward clerk at Summers County Hospital in Hinton with 17 years of service and also a homemaker. She was a member of Rollynsburg Baptist Church at Talcott and loved spending time with her beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and Gary Weikle and 2 sisters-in-law, Dolah and Susan Weikle.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Wayne Rose. one son, Anthony Rose (Amanda) of Talcott; two daughters, Crystal Rose Cline (Jonathan) of Princeton and Courtney K. Weikle (Dustin) of Peterstown; two brothers, Danny Weikle of Hinton and Brady Weikle (Roberta) of Union; one sister, Joanie Baldwin (Keith) of Union; six grandchildren, Tyler, Ashton, Avyn and Jaxon Rose and Carsten and Skyla Handy also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 26, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Alexander Church Cemetery at Sarton, WV. Friends may call from12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
