Nathaniel George Combs, 23 of Beckley passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023 at his home following a sudden illness.

Born January 28, 1999 in Bluefield, WV he was the son of Lillian Bailey Combs of Daniels, WV and the late George Edward Combs.

Nathaniel was employed in the construction industry and was a member of Victory Baptist Church at Beaver. His kindness to and love of people was his hallmark. He brightened the days of all he came in contact with. Nathaniel loved sports, especially football and basketball and also enjoyed fitness training. He was also an avid music fan and played multiple instruments. Most of all, he was a loving son, husband and father.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Liliana Nathania Combs.

Survivors include his mother, Lillian Combs of Daniels; wife, Leilani Goins Combs; son, Michael Klein and daughters, Crystal and Caylee Klein and Avah Combs; one brother, William Combs and wife Linda of Daniels, WV; two sisters, Terri Thomas and husband Donald, Sr. of Daniels, WV and Debra Innis of Maryland; grandmother,  Libby Ayers of Sandstone, along with a host of family in North Carolina and Tennessee also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 7, 2022 at Victory Baptist Church at Beaver, WV with Pastor Rollan Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the O'Bryan Cemetery at Hix. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
