Nita Marie Walker passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Main Street Care in Hinton at the age of 95.

Born on September 15, 1929 in Hinton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Martin M. and Ida Meadows Fitzpatrick.

Nita attended Hinton High School and worked at Summers County Hospital before retiring. She was a loving mother and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Webster Hatcher; second husband, Charles Walker; son, Steve Hatcher; brother, Robert M. Fitzpatrick; sisters, June Downard, Virginia Gwinn, and Patty Black.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Dennis Hatcher of Hinton, WV; brother, Herb Fitzpatrick of Falls Church, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation services have been provided at Nita's request and no services will be held at this time.
