Norma Kay Lawhorn, age 72, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at her home in Peterstown, WV surrounded by her family.

Born in Hinton, WV on August 6, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy Dick Walker.

A dedicated and cherished member of her community, Norma built a successful career as a committed salesperson for Universal Systems, where her professional drive was matched only by her warmth and ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.

More than her career achievements, Norma will be remembered for the boundless love she had for her family.  She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a doting great-grandmother.  Her family was the light of her life, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, strength, and unwavering support.  Her vibrant spirit and loving heart will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Martin and one brother, Daniel Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ted Lawhorn of Princeton, WV; daughters, Jennifer Lawhorn (Scott) of Ballard, WV and Debra Conner of Peterstown, WV; four sisters, Vivian Bennett (Robert) of Ballard, WV, Dorothy Adams (Wes) of TN, Sue Ratliff of Peterstown, WV, and Velma McKinney of OH; one brother, Donald Walker of Bozoo, WV; four grandchildren, Austin Lawhorn, Kendra Howdock, Nicholas Conner and Cole Conner; three great-grandchildren, London, Lucas, and Johnathon.

A private graveside service will held at a future date.
