Norman Davis Lyall, 61 of Houston, Texas passed away Wednesday August 28, 2019 at his home following a sudden illness.

Born July 17, 1958 in Hinton, he was the son of Oma M. Canterbury Lyall of Roanoke, VA and the late Charles E. Lyall.

Norman was a computer analyst for Energy Transfer Corporation in Houston. He was a U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Elk Career Center in Charleston, WV and was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying rafting and bicycling. He most of all loved being with friends.

Survivors include his mother, Oma Canterbury Lyall of Roanoke, VA. Two brothers, Charles Dale Lyall and wife Debbie of Troutville, VA and Gary Lyall and wife Tammy of Pence Springs, WV. Two nephews, Jonathan Lyall of Vinton, VA and Tony Lyall of Lewisburg, WV. One niece, Tonya Smith and husband Marvin of Wayside.

Services to celebrate Norman's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 14, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Terry Utterback officiating. Interment will be in Keller Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time of Saturday at the funeral home.
