Orley Lee Lilly, 79 of Hix, died Monday December 19, 2016 at his home.

Born December 29, 1936 at Flat Top, WV he was the son of the late Daniel Lee and Nora Mae Lilly.

Mr. Lilly was a self employed electrician and was a lifelong resident of West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Anderson and a son, Timothy Lilly.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Lilly of Lewisville, IN. Three daughters, Rebecca Watson of Lapel, IN, Loretta Schoolcraft of Houston, TX and Elizabeth M. Carr of Sealy, TX. Three step-daughters, Becky Sweeney of Sandstone, Linda Rothfuss of Pella, IA and Peggy Bickle of Ft. Worth, TX. His aunts and uncles, raised as brothers and sisters, Marie Skelton of Shady Spring, Virginia Wilson & husband Bobby of Beckley and James Lilly of Indiana. Eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and six step great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday December 21, 2016 at the Shockley Hill Church of Christ Cemetery with Roger Brown officiating. There will be no visitation. Those wishing to attend the services are asked to meet at the cemetery.
