Patsy Ann Boone, 61, of Ballard, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at New River Valley Medical Center, Christiansburg, Virginia.

She was born May 16, 1963, in Hinton.  She was the daughter of Jean Wheeler Mills, of Judson, and the late Kelly Mills.

She was a graduate of Hinton High School with the class of 1981.  She was a US Postal Contract Mail Carrier, and former owner of Sugar Mills Restaurant.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She enjoyed cooking, and fishing and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Kerwin Boone, son Jason Boone, and an infant son, a sister Connie Richmond, and brother Ray Mills, and a niece Jean Nicole Mills and great nephew Tucker Richmond.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Jean Mills, of Judson, daughter Savannah Boone, and her companion Raymond Smith of Ballard as well as his two children Nikkita Smith of Hinton, and Misty Smith and wife Brandi, of Hilldale, brother Bobby Mills of Judson, and sisters Sue Williams, and husband Larry of Clayton, Lisa Kelly of Hilldale, and sister-in-law Patsy Mills of Clayton, and brother-in-law Randy Richmond of Alderson. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Reylan and Evelyn Smith of Ballard, and Jake, Jaelynn, Jenna, Jessa Boone, and their mother Jessie Liming, of Sandstone, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held, Friday, October 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Tempa Baptist Church, with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Mills Family Cemetery, at Judson.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Friends may visit the family on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton.
