Paulette
Williams
Jun 12, 1954 — Mar 23, 2019
Forest Hill
Paulette Williams, 64 of Forest Hill, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 23, 2019 while a patient at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born June 12, 1954 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Okey and Allie Campbell Dillon, and grew up in Raleigh County.
She attended Cal State Fullerton and retired as a Department Head from Magic Mart in Hinton.
Paulette is survived by her loving husband, Benny, her daughter, Vanessa Redden and husband Jason of North Carolina, four grandchildren and six brothers, Terry and wife Marg of Arizona, Stanley and wife Gail of Ohio, Okie and wife Vickey of Arkansas, Steve and wife Yvonne, Toby and wife Carol and Tim, all of West Virginia.
Paulette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Christian sister to those at Roles Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him in every way she could. She served as Church Clerk, Women's Sunday School teacher, and sang in the choir. She loved living on the mountain in her country cottage, sitting on the front porch communing with God, listening to the frogs in the evenings, talking with neighbors and playing with her dogs, Spunky, Iggy and Miss Bee. She and husband Benny loved to camp, fish and garden.
At Paulette's request, she was cremated. In John chapter 14:2 Jesus tells us that in His Father's house there are many mansions and He goes to prepare a place for us. Paulette is now in her mansion in Heaven.
A celebration of Paulette's life will be held at Roles Chapel Baptist Church on Friday March 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Ronald Cobb and Tim Dillon officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the children's program at Roles Chapel or to any missionary organization.
