Peggy Marie Janney, 51 of 174 Cabell Heights Road, Beckley, passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at her home following a short illness.

Born October 22, 1967 in Hinton, she was the daughter of Janice Deeds Breen of Hinton and the late Billie Joe Breen.

Peggy was a 1985 graduate of Hinton High School. She was the Bursar and events coordinator for Valley College in Beckley and was of the Protestant faith. Peggy loved her vocation and her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billie Joe Breen.

Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years, Brian L. Janney. Mother, Janice Deeds Breen of Hinton. One brother, Jason Breen and wife Lisa of Hix. Three sisters, Carolyn of Hinton, Debra of Maxwelton, Nancy Richmond of Nimitz and Lisa Bridges and husband Todd of Gastonia, NC. Numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Zarabelle also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 16, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Tim Mitchem officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
