Phillip Earl Adkins, 69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, March 10, 2023, at Thomas Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.

He was born September 19, 1953, the son of Sylvia Margaret Graham and Russell Dillon Adkins.

Phillip enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Brenda Adkins of Hinton, four daughters, Sarah Clingan of Hinton, Becky Clingan of and companion Jody Fox of Tug Creek Mountain, Cathy Wills and husband David of Dawson, and Jennifer Ward and companion Chuck Rasignoli of Georgia.  Also surviving are ten grandchildren Sean Bennett, Adriana Bennett, Sabrina Ward, Jacob Ward, Damien (Mountain Man) Fullen, Arnesia (Boo-Hoo) Fullen, Nevah (Buttons) Fullen, Landon Wills, Paisley (Rosebud) Wills, and Carsen (Boss) Fox.

His body will be cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
