Rebecca Rae Rexroad, 44 of Riverside Rest, died Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Fairlea, WV

Born September 27, 1977 in Ft. Hood, Texas, she was the daughter of Danny and Brenda Smith Dominick of War Ridge, WV.

Rebecca was a 1995 graduate of Summers County High School. She was the owner of 'Everything That Glitters' in Hinton and was also formerly employed at Summers Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and also in the office of Dr. S.K. Shamma in Hinton. Rebecca was loved by everyone who knew her. She was committed to her business and loved engaging with the public. She also had a fond affection for her dog, Baxter and all her farm animals. Rebecca was a member of River of Life Church in Alderson.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Vince and Janice Dominick; maternal grandfather, Henry Smith; mother-in-law, Virginia Rexroad.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, and beloved husband Allen Rexroad; one son, Dominick Rexroad; one brother, Vincent Allen Dominick and wife Karen of Beckley and one sister, Shelly Lynn Cole and husband Daniel of Charlottesville, VA; maternal grandmother Jewell Smith of Alderson,  WV; father-in-law, Ray Rexroad and wife Judy of Roanonke, VA; several nieces and nephews along with close friends, Sheri Wheeler, Stephanie Hogan, Crystal Sheppard and Amber Brandon also survive.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday October 9, 2021 at River of Life Church in Alderson with Pastor Anthony Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of services Saturday at the church.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Ryan and the staff in ICU at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for their care during Rebecca's illness.
