Robert "Bobby" E. Crone, Jr. of Mountville, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly at home on February 20, 2020 at the age of 53.

Bobby was born in Fairfax, Virginia on July 25, 1966.  He grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia where he graduated from Hinton High School.  He received a Bachelor's Degree from Berea College which began his career in retail management.

Bobby had a gift for writing.  He loved to travel to places both new and old.  He was an ardent philosopher with a great passion for friendship and he never met a stranger.

Bobby is survived by his sister, Rebecca A. Crone (Rick) of Bumpass, VA; his two brothers, Gregory A. Crone (Penny) of Mechanicsville, VA and Jody L. Crone (Sharon) of Gloucester, VA and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah J. Wingenroth, his sister, Lisa D. Price and his father, Robert E. Crone.

A Celebration of Bobby's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Home, 100 Park Avenue, Hinton, WV with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
