Robert "Bob"
Clifton Argabright
Apr 10, 1943 — Jun 20, 2025
Warrenton
Robert (Bob) Clifton Argabright, 82 of Warrenton, Virginia died peacefully surrounded by his family on June 20, 2025. Bob was born on April 10,1943 to the late Raymond "Bit" Argabright and Gladys Marie Argabright (Vess) in Summers County, West Virginia.
He played several sports in High School, from Wrestling to Basketball, to Football. He graduated from Hinton High School in Hinton, West Virginia in 1962. He was offered to play professional football with the Pittsburgh Steelers but decided to join the United States Marine Corp. instead. He served in the Marine Corp from 1962 to 1966.
He was a jack of all trades, he worked many places, his last and most favorite job was at Home Depot in Warrenton, Virginia. He was a hard worker, sometimes holding down two to three jobs to make ends meet for his family. He made sure we had not only what we wanted, but what we needed, he missed a lot of holidays, birthdays, and family events to make sure his family was provided for. He was a great cook, from his homemade West Virginia meatloaf to his famous Cole slaw and his homemade fudge he loved giving out at Christmas. He knew how to fix just about anything, which included using his old faithful roll of duct tape. He passed that wisdom along to his son RC. It was a family joke if Dad or RC could not fix it, pull out the duct tape.
Bob was a very kind, man with such a big heart, he taught his kids to work hard, be kind, and go to school and learn the golden rule. He never got off the phone or left without saying, "love you with all my heart." If you asked dad where he was from, he would open his blue eyes real big and say" Possom Holler, West Virginia."
He is survived by his wife Roslyn Silverman Argabright of Warrenton, VA.; two daughters, Cassandra Argabright-White (Duane) of Remington, VA, and Katelyn Argabright (Alex) of Warrenton, VA.; two sons, Robert Clifton (RC) Argabright, JR. (Szilvia) of Bealeton, VA and Shawn Argabright (Becca) of Locust Grove, VA. He had two granddaughters who he loved with all of his heart, Makayla White (Donovan) and Marissa White, both of Remington, VA.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a daughter, Lisa Dawn Glascock from a previous marriage.
We will miss you dad so much, no more pain, no more dementia, you are going back home to West Virginia.
