Robert Lee Houchins, Jr., 60, of Hinton, died at the Peyton Hospice House, in Fairlea, West Virginia, on May 21, 2018.

Born in Princeton, West Virginia, February 12, 1958, he was the son of Shirley Runyon Houchins of Pipestem and the late Robert Lee Houchins, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son Noah Houchins, of Hinton, and two daughters, Micahi Houchins of Hinton, and Alicia Houchins and companion, Ben Gurley, of Frankford, West Virginia.  A brother, Daniel "Boone" Houchins, and wife Mary of Lerona, and two sisters, Linda Hosford and husband Paul, of Concord, North Carolina, and Rita Blackburn, and husband Gary, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, two grandchildren, Maria Gurley, and Landon Gurley, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews also survive.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home. A memorial will be held at a later date.
