Robert Rae Woodbury, Jr., 79, of Ballard, WV, passed away, December 7, 2023, at Beckley ARH, in Beckley, WV, following a long illness.

Born January 7, 1944, in Greenville, OH, he was the son of the late Robert Rae Woodbury, Sr., and Virginia Williams Woodbury.

Robert graduated from Ansonia High School, in Dart County, Ohio, and also graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College of Conservatory of Music, with a Bachelor's degree in Music as well as a Master's degree in Music.  He was of the Episcopal faith.  He enjoyed farming on his farm in Ballard.  He was a retired musician.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Lazarus Woodbury, of Ballard, and two daughters Shannon Donecea and husband John, of East Northport, New York, and Leigh Ann Long, and husband Matt, of Beckley, WV.   Also surviving are five grandchildren, Max, Amelia, Ellie, Brisco and Raelyn.

No services will be held at this time.
