Roger Lee Adkins, 80, of Hinton, WV, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at his home following a short illness.

Born on December 11, 1945 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Clifford and Hallie Adkins.

Roger was a US Army veteran and he lived most of his life in Hinton.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Marsha Brown; five brothers, Joey, Larry, Russell "Bimbo", Ronnie, and George Adkins; three sisters, Rosie Adkins, Joyce Adkins Snow, and Connie Adkins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two granddaughters, Harley Brown Lindsey and Kendall Brown; two sisters, Betty Burgess and Bonnie Ward; one brother, Billy Adkins; best friends, Gary Wood and Jason Gill; many nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be a service celebrating Roger's life at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel. All friends and family are welcome to attend and share their memories.
