Roger Lee Wills, 71 of Hinton, passed away Monday May 23, 2022 at his home following a long illness.

Born September 2, 1950 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Jack and Vada Gill Wills.

Roger was an equipment operator and forman for WV Land & Farm owned by John and Lynn Sanders. He was also a former employee of Turner Construction Company in Hinton. Roger was a Hinton High School graduate and a veteran of the US Army. He loved farming cattle and hogs as well as fishing and spending time with his beloved family.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Raymond and Teddy Wills and two sisters, Virginia Harvey and Janice Harmon.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Kessler Wills; one son, Mark Wills and wife Amanda of Hinton; four daughters, Melissa Kesner and husband Woody, Heaven Harrah and husband Richard, and Raven and Karalee Wills all of Hinton; four sisters, Shirley Bowling and husband Keith, Cassie Chewning and husband Darrell, Angeline Crewey and husband Ray and Anita Cox and husband Cecil, all of Hinton; seven grandchildren, Kayla Kesner, Kristen Kesner, Jacob Adkins, Josh Adkins, Brianna Wills, Mason Harrah and Aneva Harrah; two great grandchildren, Sunshine Colaiseno and Braxton Morrison; several nieces and nephews also survive.

At Rogers request, the body has been cremated and there will no public services. Interment will be in the Wills Family Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
