Ronald Lee Jones, 73 of Hinton died Saturday November 21, 2020 at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness.

Born July 14, 1947 at Forest Hill, he was the son of Mary Elizabeth Meadows Jones of Jumping Branch and the late Woodrow Jones.

Ronald was a graduate of Forest Hill High School and retired after 38 years with the Kroger Corporation. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, tinkering in his garage and most of all spending time with his beloved family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Connie Spade Jones; mother, Mary Meadows Jones; son, Rodney Jones and wife Alice of Charleston, WV; three brothers, Calvin Jones and wife Pat of Michigan, Neal Jones and wife Donna of Texas and Lloyd Jones and wife Mary of Jumping Branch; One sister, Genevieve Flint and husband Harvey of Ballard, WV; three grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan and Raegan Jones; brother-in-law, Charles Spade and wife Patty of Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 25, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
