Ronald W. "Pete" Smith, Jr. 52 of Hinton passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 from a sudden illness.

He was born July 17, 1969 in Hinton to Ronald Sr. & Bonnie Wills Smith of Hinton, WV.

Pete was of the Christian faith and attended Ramp Holiness Church.

He attended Hinton High School and had many odd jobs through his lifetime. He was a fun loving uncle to his nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Hobert F Wills, Samuel G. Sr. & Leva A Graham Smith. Several aunts, uncles & cousins.

Besides his parents he is survived by a sister Regina (Don) Meador of Hinton; a brother Joey Smith & companion Tasha Dickenson of Wayside, WV; nephews Luke Smith of Wayside, WV, Logan Smith & companion Lexi Trent of Greenville, WV; nieces Morgan Meador of Hinton, WV and Kali Smith of Standardsville, VA; Grandmother Ruby Wills of Hilldale; a good friend Connie Smith of Hinton, WV and special aunt Marie Ratliff of Beckley, WV A host of aunts, uncles & cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday February 18, 2022 at Ramp Holiness Church with Pastors Flex Baker & Jim Boswell officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery at Tug Creek, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at the church on Friday.

Pallbearers will be: Joey Smith, Logan Smith, Luke Smith, Jayson Dodd, Samuel "Baldy" Smith, Steven Brown, Paul"Buck"Brown, David Farmer, Michael Smith and Justin Dodd.
