Ronald R. "Ron" Bowling, 69 of Talcott, passed away Sunday March 7, 2021 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a short illness.

Born June 28, 1951 in Hinton, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Virginia N. Lively Bowling.

Ron was a retired surface miner with CONSOL Energy Corp. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and running heavy equipment. Ron was a member of the UMWA and was of the Baptist faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlena Bowling and one brother, Charles R. Bowling.

Survivors include one son, Michael Ray Bowling & wife Rebecca of Fayetteville, PA; two daughters, Melissa Harvey & husband Brett of War Ridge and Kimberly Gail Bowling of Chambersburg, PA; one brother, John Keith Bowling & wife Shirley of Hinton; two sisters, Brenda Webb & husband Dempsey of Pipestem and Sandra Neely of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Nicholas Harvey (Marissa), Christian Harvey (Brooklynn) and Logan and Hannah Bowling; three great granddaughters and Ron's fury little buddy "Rascal" also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 11, 2021 at Keller Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Ellery Wykle officiating. There will be no visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
