It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Lee Adkins announces his passing on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the age of 57.

Born in Hinton, WV on August 4, 1968, he was the son of the late Curtis and Elizabeth Terry Adkins.

Roy lived in Hinton and worked as a Painter.   He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had an appreciation for antiques.

Besides his parents, Roy was preceded in death by three brothers, David Lee Terry, Chriss Keller, and Curtis Adkins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his special friend and mother of his children, Susie Wheeler; son, Garry Wayne Wheeler (Johna) of Hinton, WV; step-son, J.T. Thomas of Charleston, WV; daughters, Kendra Wheeler of Hinton, WV and Mandy Booth (Adam) of Huntington, WV; step-daughter, Katlin Thomas of Charleston, WV; twin brother, Ronnie Adkins (Angie) of Hinton, WV; sisters, Carletta Williams (James), Teresa Kellar and Mona Lisa Gill, all of Hinton, WV; four grandchildren, Cayden, Kyleigh, Harper, and Harlen; special great niece, Malory Martin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and many friends also survive; beloved dog, Trouble.

To honor his request, cremation services have been provided.
