Roy Mason Crawford, Jr. beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, age 85, passed away May 4, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.  He was born, July 12, 1939, in Hinton, West Virginia, the son of Roy Mason Crawford, Sr. and Mary Marie Miller Crawford.

He graduated from Forest Hill High School, Forest Hill, West Virginia, and is a retired Mechanic, with J. D. Stokley, Corporation, serving as shop foreman and retiring as the safety supervisor.  His hobbies included spending time with his children and grandchildren, gardening and, being involved with his church.  He was an avid sports fan with the Dallas Cowboys and Mark Martin as two of his favorites.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Crawford Beattie.

Those left to cherish his memory are a son Timothy Mason Crawford, of Haymarket, Virginia, and daughter Catherine Louise Hall (Kirk), of Lorida, Florida.  Also surviving are two sisters, Louise Weber, of Charleston, West Virginia, and Ruth Ann Williams, of Forest Hill. Three grandchildren, Timothy Mason Crawford, Jr. of Bealeton, Virginia, Trent Warren Hall (Brooke) of Ft. Myers, FL and Abigail Louise Beattie, all of Lynchburg, Virginia, and one great grandson Tucker James Hall of Fort Myers, Florida also survive.

Services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Charles Drake officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service at the church.
