Sandra B. Feamster of Hinton passed away Thursday August 22, 2024 surrounded by family at the age of 73 following a short illness.

Sandra was born in Hinton, WV on June 14, 1951 to the late Charles and Thelma Crook Buckland.

Sandra was a 1969 graduate of Hinton High School and graduated from Beckley College. She was a retired cook having worked at Summers County High and Summers Middle School. Sandra was kind, generous and caring towards all that knew her. She married the love of her life, George S. Feamster, Jr. on September 1, 1972. Sandra loved sewing and most of all spending time with her children and her grandsons. She will be missed by her entire family immensely.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Buckland; brothers-in-law, Frank Feamster, Richard Feamster, Kenneth Goodall and Donald Loudermilk; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Loudermilk and Susan Feamster.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 51 years, George S. Feamster, Jr.; one son, Sammy Feamster and wife Lori of Hilldale and a daughter, Martha Wykle of Alderson, WV; three grandsons, Jordan Feamster of Blacksburg, VA, Justin Feamster of San Antonio, TX and Lucas Wykle of Alderson, WV; sisters-in-law, Margorie Sharp of Hampton, VA, Mary Phillip and husband James of Forest City, NC, Rachel Goodall of Alderson, WV; brother-in-law, Henry Feamster and wife Dru of Lindside, WV; many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends will cherish Sandra's memory.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday August 26, 2024 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton, WV with Pastor Mike Tuebert officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Sean Green, Shawn Loudermilk, Andrew Pettit, Barry Bales, Mark Crook, Chris Adkins, David Sharp and Todd Arthur.
