Sandra Kay (Thomas) Wurm, 63 of Pence Springs passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022, peacefully at home following a long illness.

Born June 17, 1958, in Eskdale to the late Herman Lee Thomas Sr. and Crystal Genevieve Persinger. She was raised in Alderson, WV with her four sisters, one brother, and was blessed with stepsiblings later in life.

Sandy was retired after working for several decades as a Certified Nursing Assistant and providing care to others. She loved yard sales, thrift stores, flea markets, and searching for a good deal. She loved to shop and eat out at a good restaurant. She spent most of her time with her beloved Dachshund, Annie and her husband in their home.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Diane, her brother Hermie, stepbrother Joey, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, James Wurm, her daughter Jamie Allen (Shawn), grandson John Daniel and numerous siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many others.

No services will be held at this time.
