Sarina Danese Skidmore, 44 of 1210 Taylor St. Hinton was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 29, 2017 at CAMC General Division in Charleston following a short illness.

Born October 18, 1972 in Hinton she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Skidmore Carter.

Sarina was a graduate of Hinton High School and received her medical assistant's license from National Business College. She was a former employee of Summers County A.R.H. Hospital in Hinton and also was a former dispatcher for Summers County 911.

Sarina had a big heart and it showed by her working with people in the healthcare field and with animals. She also loved Jesus and her church. She was a member of Bellepoint Baptist Church and was very active in the children's ministry and the children all loved her dearly. She will be missed by all her family.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vern Leon Skidmore and a brother, Lawrence Carter.

Survivors include her grandmother, Ina Ruth Skidmore. Her adopted three children, Larry Skidmore, Aseanti Skidmore and Bailey Paul  Skidmore. A sister, Star Carter and a brother, Corey Carter also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 2, 2017 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Chris Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
