Sharon Kay Ratliff, 56 Beckley, formerly of Hinton passed away Sunday September 1, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Born April 12, 1963 in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Don, Sr. and Gladys Imogene Adkins Ratliff.

Kay was a graduate of Hinton High School and was employed in retail sales. She attended New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Hinton.

Survivors include a daughter, Raven Ratliff of Hinton and companion Bubba Meador. Kay's companion, James Pruitt of Beckley. Four brothers, Roger Louie Ratliff of Hinton, Don G. Ratliff, Jr. of Beckley, Bobbie Darrell "Buzz" Ratliff of Hinton and Brian "Bleak" Ratliff of Charleston, SC.  Two sisters, Kathy Sue "Kippie" Ratliff of Hinton and Cindy Carol Ratliff McInnis of Leakville, MS. One granddaughter, Lyanna Yopp. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday Sept. 6, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Eddie Crews officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
